Review: Lime Crime Lippie Centrifuchsia

I don't wear this beautiful color nearly enough.  Lime Crime's Centrifuchsia is, well, fuchsia.  It's beautifully vibrant, like all of Doe's creations.
Centrifuchsia is long-lasting, creamy, and smells great.  I can't really identify the scent.  Vanilla, maybe?  All I know is I like to smell the lippies.  It makes me happy.

Centrifuchsia and Mirror Mirror kisses!
(Tip: Just swipe Mirror Mirror with a fluffy brush over primer and slick on Centrifuchsia.  Apply lots of mascara.)

A Pop of Red Tutorial

This was my face today, 2/28.
Ingredients:
MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
Lime Crime Magic Dust in Nymph
Lancome Sensational Effects Eye Shadow in Luxe Grey(Matte)
MAC Hello Kitty Edition Powder Blush in M03
Estee Lauder Projectionist High Definition Mascara in 01 Black
Lime Crime Lipstick in Retrofuturist
Brushes:
CVS Brand essence of BEAUTY Conceal
Sephora Angled Liner 15
CVS Brand essence of BEAUTY Eyeshadow
Sephora All Over Shadow Small 23
CVS Brand essence of BEAUTY Blush

First, pat the concealer brush into the paint pot, which we are using as an eyeshadow base.  Pat that onto your eyelid, but don't use too much.  Next, slide a damp Angled Liner brush through black eyeshadow.  Line your rims.  You may use black liner if you'd like.  I don't have any.  Then load up your Small All Over Shadow brush with Nymph, and pack it into your inner corners.  Smudge the black; I used the essence of BEAUTY Eyeshadow brush since it has a nice domed shape.  Next, put a little bit of blush on the apples of your cheeks.  I used a cute pink color.  Then apply mascara on your top lashes only.  Finally, swipe a bright red lipstick on your lips straight from the tube.  I used Retrofuturist by Lime Crime.  Gorgeous!

Review: Lime Crime Countessa Fluorescent and Mirror Mirror

The glee hasn't faded!  This time the love is for Countessa Fluorescent, a Barbie pink.  This color is my favorite.  It's really opaque, but can sheer out into a nice light pink.  Doe did a really nice job on this one.  Mine is almost gone, as you can see here.
It's a little drying, but its nothing a little Chapstick can't fix!

I also wanted to show a newly aquired Magic Dust, in Mirror Mirror.  It's a beautiful silver.  When applied with a fluffy brush, it sheers out into a nice hint of silver.  When applied with a damp angled brush, its a molten silver liner.  Either way, it's beautifully pigmented!
The only problem is that its messy.  Right now I have it all over my hands and arms!

This is a simple look I did with Mirror Mirror and Countessa Fluorescent.
Kisses!

Review: Lime Crime Lippies in Retrofuturist

I have phases when it comes to my makeup.  I've been known to love a bare face, then, a few years later, want to pile it all on.  It really fluctuates.  What I'm loving now, though, is Lime Crime, especially their lipsticks.  They have wonderful, bright colors, with more on the way.  So I'd love to share the glee.

The lipsticks come in a bright purple tube with a unicorn on it.  Some people say it seems juvenille, but I think it adds to the fun, magical attitude of the brand.  The wear of the lipsticks is good.  When you first apply it, be careful to not smudge it before it dries.  When it dries, however, you have a while before you have to reapply.  These lipsticks are also really versatile, depending on how much you put on.

Retrofuturist is a beautiful true red, without any blue or yellow undertones.  I love to wear it with black outfits, just to add some color.  I've seen it used with Snow White costumes, mod outfits, jester costumes, and general gorgeousness.
This is me, without any makeup, except for Retrofuturist, making a kissy face.

More Lime Crime to come, I promise!
