Lime Crime
I love makeup. I mean, who doesn't? And the best highly pigmented makeup is Lime Crime. I love the lipsticks, so here are a few of my favorites.
Retrofuturist- This is a beautiful true red. I feel like I could wear anything with it! It's so classic and so modern at the same time.
Centrifuchia- This is a great pink. I love pink, and I think I could rock it.
P.S. My Beauty Blog is giving away $70 worth of Lime Crime! Look here: http://mybeautyblog.co.uk/contests/win-70-00-worth-of-lime-crime-makeup/

Halloween Costume: Panda
I love pandas. I think they're cute. I actually had a big plushie when I was small. So, I thought, wouldn't that make a great Halloween costume?! I did.
This costume was inspired by Doe Deere's Panda makeup tutorial. It calls for black lipstick, which is abundant during Halloween, but Doe has the best of the best. Try Lime Crime Stylleto black lipstick for this costume. It's smooth, and very pigmented. Just follow the directions on her blog:
Panda Makeup Tutorial- Doe Deere
My costume would start with a great black and white sweaterdress. It keeps you warm and you're fuzzy like a real panda! Keep your legs warm with black leggings, and wear simple black booties. The finishing touch are panda ears! The best I've found are on Etsy, offered by a seller called Nekomimi. You need to custom request a pair, and they do take two weeks to get to the US from Austrailia. They are $20. Now you're set to release the chic panda cuteness to the world!

Halloween Costume: Ze Sexy Frenchwoman
Yes, yes. I know. Halloween is one day away. Lets say this is to prepare for next year. And you never want a costume that everyone will be wearing. Also, how nice would it be to actually be able to wear your costume after Halloween? Here's a suggestion: A Sexy Frenchwoman!
Start your costume off with a staple: a simple black miniskirt. Get yours at Forever21. They have great variety, and they aren't expensive. Then add a blue and white striped shirt or tank. A boatneck is fine, but I show a slinky tank here. A black beret is a must. Tilt it to one side for the best effect. Tie a red scarf around the neck. For makeup, apply a red lipstick. I love Lime Crime's Retrofuturist. It looks good on any skintone. It's a great buy at $16 because you will use it again and again.
Now for the all-important mustache. You can achieve it many ways. There are tattoos you can buy, and apply to your face or your finger. You can also draw it on to your finger or face with an eyeliner pencil. There are fake mustaches out there, and there are "mustaches-on-a-stick" that you can hold up to your face. Make your choice. To finish off the look, speak in a French accent all night, and say a few choice French phrases.

Halloween Costume: Poe
Halloween is a time for fun. If you want to get into the more creepy side of the holiday, look no further than Edgar Allen Poe. Poe is known for creepy poems and crazy hair. Let's add some feminitiy to this classic, creepy look.
The first thing you need is a black miniskirt. Plain is fine, but I like the look of a textured skirt for this look. Next, add a frilly white shirt. Poe is known for wearing white shirts with detail at the neckline, so I exagerated it. Just a tip: wear a short sleeve shirt so you won't get too warm. Or you could wear a white t-shirt, and make a ruffle. On top goes a black blazer. It adds a little mystery to the outfit, and you'll wear it again and again. Black booties make sure the focus is on the rest of the outfit. Crazy hair is also important. If you have short hair, just mess your hair up. If you have long hair, however, it will be more of a process. I suggest curling your hair, then mussing it up with your hands. Apply some hairspray to keep it crazy. Makeup consits of a smoky eye, dark red lips, and dark red nails. This is the base Poe outfit.
Now we can add touches of your favorite Poe poem. I chose The Raven. To pay homage to this creepy poem, wear a gold raven ring and carry around a fake raven. To balance it out, put a pretty gold ring on your other hand. Quote The Raven all night! "Nevermore!"
